Shooting Video For “Come Sit In My Chair”

Music Video

The last couple of days have been spent in Picton and Tweed shooting a music video for “Come Sit In My Chair”.  Here is a photo of my parents and me from the shooting that took place in Tweed at my father’s mobile Barber Shop.  Tight quarters for filming but thanks to Gord Alder, who is very talented at his craft, for what I think is going to be a great homage to my Dad and to this song.

My Favourite Moment

Gord asked for the three of us to film the first line of the song in the mobile barbershop.  After all, it was just the three of us that crossed the bridge to Tweed 49 years ago.  My favourite moment of the day of shooting was when my Dad and Mom stood beside me in the barbershop while I sang… “Crossed the bridge to Tweed in 1964, a new family, in a new home”.

We celebrated what those 49 years have meant for all three of us.  I am thankful to be able to call Tweed my home and thankful to have such wonderful parents.  It was a very special day. Thanks to Gord for his wonderful suggestion. I will share more with you on the rest of the filming soon.
