Time to Create

After years of dreaming of being able to wake up every morning and simply create, I find it interesting how things get in the way of doing that.  After all, I don’t have to get up and go to work every day.  Since I left my job, I have felt as though I am on vacation.  I get up in the morning and still make a list of things to do.  Getting settled into my new home and learning about Leamington and area has kept me busy.  I am finally relaxing into a space where creating is becoming possible.

Percolating

In paying attention to distractions. I find that during times when I am busy doing other things, I am percolating.  New ideas, new inspirations, and new experiences are all in there, percolating… waiting for me to finish my brew.  In the meantime, I am polishing up and re-working some of the older tunes, and getting ready to perform them again live… and refreshed.
